Haunted Houses Set to Open Nationwide 2018
Haunted Houses across America are about to open most will open on September 28th, while some are already open. Hauntworld is the biggest online directory to help you find, rate and review haunted houses near you! Haunted Houses have expanded like never before in 2018 as many owners look to open carnival style midways, offer VIP packages, new secondary haunt attractions or have even opened escape rooms. Some of the haunted houses we spoke to about the upcoming haunt season said they would offer scary VR experiences while others said they would open gift stores for the first time.
Most haunted houses have come to terms they're not in the SCARE business but the ENTERTAIN business and that is exactly what haunts across America are about to do. If we learned ANYTHING from the national Haunted House convention back in March 2018, it was that the tradeshow itself has grown from 50,000 feet to 250,000 because haunts are looking to expand. During the tradeshow we saw new types of business offerings from food vendors, escapes, to even Christmas.
In 2018 if you visit a haunted house we fully believe you will have the most FUN SCREAMING than any other year! Why? Because haunted houses are opening more unique attractions, creating icon monsters who roam the lines while you wait, offering tons of photo ops for you and your friends. Let's put it this way... haunted house owners now understand that guests want to come with their friends and share those experiences. You'll find more haunts now open to you filming your experience than ever before.
