Psycomania Theater Haunted House Burns to the Ground
Fri, March 16, 2012
Tuesday, February 28th a fire broke out at PsychoMania, Theater of Terror in Clarksville, Indiana. This unique haunt was a tradition for haunt lovers all over Indiana and improved with age. The fire was reported at 6:08 am and was under control by 9:00 am. Firefighters were still working on hot spots in the theater at 9:30 a.m and were not allowed in the building because of fear of structural collapse. Unfortunately the building is a loss and over $25,000 worth of props have been destroyed. The building was insured, but the props inside were not. It's estimated that 90 percent of the building's contents were destroyed Thomas Upton of the Clarksville Fire Department said that he hopes that it will be declared an immediate danger by the city building commissioner so that it can be demolished. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the workers at PsychoMania and we pray that they'll be able to rebuild someday.
