When driving south through Odessa, Townsend, and Blackbird, stop in 3 Palms Zoo & Education Center for family Halloween fun. Next the Smyrna Opera House offers fall shows, events, & productions perfect for the season like The Curse of Jessica Fletcher in 2019. The Woodburn Governors House in Dover DE offers guided tours & events. Wicked R Western Productions offers both children Halloween events and one of the best Delaware haunted houses too. The Historic Sunnybrae Mansion Farm in Milford is known for having Halloween party events and seasonal masquerade parties. Funland amusement park & arcade on the boardwalk is located in Rehoboth Beach near Dewey Beach. Between Harbeson and Wood Branch lies a sports complex called Sports At The Beach, and during haunted house season they operate Screams At The Beach in Georgetown DE. In fact, Sussex County is the mecca location in Delaware for Halloween and Delaware haunted houses: Nightmares Haunted House, The Cemetery House, Slaughterhouse Farm, and Mr Peppers Pumpkin Patch are all located in Laurel Delaware. Plus Harrington, and Milford are excellent Delaware locations for haunted houses, haunted trails, haunted hayrides, haunted attractions & haunted funhouses. Ramsey's Farm in Wilmington, Country Living Pumpkins & Produce in Millsboro, Coleman's Christmas Tree Farm & Pumpkin Patch in Middletown, and Fifer Orchards Farm & Country Store in Camden Wyoming DE are all excellent places to pick a pumpkin or find Fall family events or simply pick a pumpkin for carving this Halloween season.
